2. Speaker Won't Turn On

  1. Hold the power button for a full 3 seconds — a short press won't register.
  2. Connect the Type-C cable to a DC 5V/1.5A power source and let it charge.
  3. Check the LED: red means charging, off means either fully charged or not receiving power at all — try a different cable or adapter to rule out a charging issue.
  4. If there's still no response after a full charge attempt, this may point to a hardware fault — contact support.

3. Won't Pair Over Bluetooth

  1. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to power on and enter Bluetooth mode.
  2. Confirm the LED is flashing blue — this indicates pairing mode.
  3. On your phone, open Bluetooth settings, search for devices, and select "SoundDrum P."
  4. If it doesn't appear, make sure the speaker isn't currently in USB, AUX, or Micro SD mode — short-press the mode button to cycle back to Bluetooth mode if needed.
  5. If it was previously paired to another phone, forget the SoundDrum P entry on that phone or move out of its range, then retry pairing.

4. USB or Micro SD Playback Issues

  1. Insert the USB flash drive or Micro SD card before switching modes — the speaker needs the media present to detect it.
  2. Short-press the mode button to cycle to "USB MODE" or "TF CARD MODE" as appropriate.
  3. If nothing plays, check that the audio files are in a commonly supported format (e.g. MP3) and that the drive/card isn't corrupted — test it in another device if possible.
  4. Use the volume "+"/"–" buttons to control playback and short-press to skip tracks once music is playing.

5. AUX Mode Not Working

  1. Plug a 3.5mm audio cable into the AUX IN port on the back of the speaker — SoundDrum P should switch to line-in mode automatically.
  2. If there's no sound, check the volume on the source device itself, since AUX is a passive connection not controlled by the speaker's Bluetooth volume.
  3. Reseat the cable firmly at both ends if the connection seems intermittent.

6. Calls Not Working Through the Speaker

  1. Confirm the speaker is connected via Bluetooth (not USB, AUX, or Micro SD mode) — speakerphone functions only work in Bluetooth mode.
  2. Press the speakerphone/play-pause button once to answer an incoming call, and once again to end an active call.
  3. If callers can't hear you clearly, move closer to your phone and check nothing is blocking the microphone.

7. Battery & Charging Issues

  • Charge using the Type-C cable with a DC 5V/1.5A power source.
  • Actual playtime depends on volume level and usage — higher volumes will drain the battery faster.

8. General Safety Reminders

  • Do not use the speaker near water, in bathrooms, or in humid conditions.
  • Keep it away from heat sources and don't block any ventilation openings.
  • Disconnect the charging cable if the speaker won't be used for a long period.
