1. Adapto 200 Does Not Power ON

  1. Check that the supplied power cable is connected securely to the charger.
  2. Check that the other end is connected to a working AC wall outlet.
  3. Confirm that the outlet is switched ON.
  4. Disconnect and reconnect the power cable.
  5. Check whether the OLED display turns ON.

The charger is rated for 110–240V AC, 50/60Hz, 3.6A input.

2. Connected Device Does Not Charge

  1. Check that the cable is connected firmly to the charger.
  2. Check the connection at the phone, tablet or laptop.
  3. Try another compatible charging cable.
  4. Try another output port if available.
  5. Check the OLED display for wattage on the connected port.
  6. Confirm that the device supports the charging protocol required.

3. Charging Speed Is Lower Than Expected

Charging speed may be affected by:

  • The number of devices connected at the same time.
  • Power sharing between occupied ports.
  • The device's maximum supported input.
  • Charging cable capability.
  • The device's charging state and temperature.

Check the live wattage shown for the relevant port. Use a cable rated for the required charging power.

4. Laptop Does Not Receive 100W

  1. Confirm that the laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery at 100W.
  2. Use a compatible high-wattage USB-C cable.
  3. Connect the laptop to a USB-C port that supports the required output.
  4. If charging two laptops, use USB-C2 and USB-C3 as described for the 100W + 100W dual-laptop configuration.
  5. Check the live wattage on the OLED display.

The 100W figure is the maximum for a compatible individual USB-C output under the specified port configuration. Device and cable support are required.

5. Output Wattage Changes When Another Device Is Connected

This is expected when the charger's intelligent power distribution reallocates the available power.

  1. Check the OLED display before connecting the additional device.
  2. Connect the additional device.
  3. Check the individual port wattages again.
  4. Check the total output.
  5. Confirm that the combined output remains within the 200W maximum.

The charger automatically adjusts allocation based on the connected devices and port combination.

6. OLED Display Does Not Show the Expected Information

  1. Tap the display touch sensor to cycle through the available display views.
  2. Check the total wattage view.
  3. Check the individual port wattage view.
  4. Check the temperature-control / ECO-COOL display.
  5. Reconnect the devices if a port's reading does not appear.

The display information can change as devices connect or disconnect.

7. USB-A Device Is Not Fast Charging

  1. Confirm that the connected device supports USB-A QC 3.0 charging.
  2. Use a compatible USB-A charging cable.
  3. Check the USB-A port's wattage on the OLED display.
  4. Remember that USB-A output is specified up to 30W and may be affected by power-sharing combinations.

8. Charger Becomes Unusually Hot

  1. Disconnect the charger from the AC outlet.
  2. Disconnect all connected devices.
  3. Allow the product to cool in a dry, ventilated area.
  4. Check for visible damage or unusual odour.
  5. Do not use the product if it continues to overheat, emits smoke or sparks, or shows damage.
  6. Contact Portronics Support.

Do not open or attempt to repair the charger yourself.

9. Power Distribution Table Does Not Match the OLED Display

The supplied power-distribution table contains some combinations that are unclear or appear inconsistent with the individual port ratings and total 200W limit.

  1. Check the actual port wattages shown on the OLED display.
  2. Check the total output shown by the charger.
  3. Confirm which ports are occupied.
  4. Use the live display as the operating reference rather than assuming a fixed output for every device combination.

10. Device Disconnects or Charging Stops

  1. Check the AC power cable and wall outlet.
  2. Check the USB charging cable at both ends.
  3. Reconnect the device.
  4. Try a different compatible charging cable or port.
  5. Check whether the OLED display shows output on the connected port.

If the charger shows abnormal behaviour, stop using it and contact support.

Important Safety Reminders

  • Do not use the charger if it is damaged.
  • Keep the charger away from high temperatures, direct sunlight, fire and moisture.
  • Do not immerse the charger in liquid.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the product.
  • Stop use immediately if smoke, sparks, unusual odour or abnormal heat occurs.
  • Keep the charger away from small children.
